  Dr. Gary Watson, tree root expert at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Ill. He is immediate past President of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). He will talk on construction damage to trees and on the use of pesticides and chemicals.  Dr. Watson received his PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Illinois. He joined the Morton Arboretum research staff in 1986. His research covers plant growth regulators, fertilization, mycorrhizae, transplanting and pruning. He has also done research in Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.  He is recipient of the ISA Award for Arboriculture Research.
