Conference Scholarship Application

Think Trees New Mexico recognizes the value of professional development in the urban and community forestry industry. For this reason, we are offering a scholarship program designed to encourage participation in the 2027 Think Trees Conference. Preference will be given to applicants affiliated with small municipalities, tribal entities and urban and community forestry organizations. This scholarship will cover the conference registration fee of $400. Recipients will be responsible for travel expenses for the conference if they choose to attend in person. The conference will be available via live stream for those attending virtually. The award cap is five registrations.

Application submissions open October 1st, 2026.
The deadline for scholarship applications is December 1st, 2026.
Scholarship Award Annoucement is December 28th, 2026.
